Bird & Bat Boxes

Although Sandymoor has a good range of woodland providing adequate habitat, the Council felt there was always room for more and after consulting with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds it was agreed that in order to get the community involved in the project, the council would purchase bird boxes which would be given to local residents who could offer suitable locations. We are also hoping to source bat boxes for any residents that are interested too. This will hopefully begin in September/October 2022.
