After the successful installation of our second, permanently accessible, defibrillator outside Chatwin's bakery, the Parish Council hosted a free defibrillator training session. It was originally planned in for November but unfortunately had to be rearranged to January due to trainer illness. The training was held in Hazlehurst on the 8th January, was well attended and positive feedback was given from those that were there.
One attendee suggested that a basic first aid course could also be put on for Sandymoor residents and so we have organised for a general, everyday first aid course to be held at Hazlehurst on Tuesday 30th January between 7:00pm & 9:00pm. If you'd like to reserve a place then please email Arthur.
