Sandymoor Parish Council have had the following update from PC Lines of Cheshire Police:
Just to make yourselves aware, numerous incidents have been reported to myself regarding an unknown male on a bicycle, walking up driveways, this has usually occurred at night between the times of 20:00-23:00hrs.
I am asking for more patrols around the area between the above times, I have also asked for more plain clothes patrols around the highlighted areas. If any persons are seen acting suspicious around addresses, I will be seeking proactive stops and positive action.
Please can you make all residents aware of the following safeguarding advice:
Ensure that garages, out houses, homes and vehicles are all secured. Please ensure that windows are locked, CCTV/ Ring doorbell are working and homes are alarmed.
If you see any unusual or suspicious behaviour, please report it to Cheshire Police calling 101 (or 999 in an emergency only) or using the Cheshire Police Residents Voice website
