Carriageway Surface Works & Road Closures

We have been informed by HBC of some upcoming temporary road closures due to essential carriageway surface treatment works. The closures are to Daresbury Lane, Runcorn Road, Moss Lane & Moore Lane. Moss Lane & Moore Lane will not be closed at the same time.

Below is a copy of one of the letters for information:

Dear Sir or Madam,


RE: DARESBURY LANE – CARRIAGEWAY SURFACE TREATMENT WORKS

I write to inform you that carriageway surface treatments works will be taking place on Daresbury Lane.

The works are scheduled take place in two visits, between 28th July and 13th August, these visits will be for 2 days at a time and require a road closure. Unfortunately, these works are weather dependent so exact dates cannot be provided. Advance works boards will be placed out prior to works and our contractor will deliver letters the day before to the proprieties immediately affected.

A diversion will be in place when the works starts, Access will be maintained for residents although there may be periods where access is limited.
