The parish council have been contacted by a Sandymoor resident, informing us of the following and asking us to make people aware of this:

'Twice in the matter of a few days we've had our door kicked at night. It was quite frightening, we thought somebody was trying to break in. We have reported this incident to the police, who mentioned while there have been no reports of other incidences in the area the police still want to encourage people to report any incidents of anti-social behaviour to them. I also did a search online and found Thames Valley Police have put an alert out on the same problem in their area: TREND WARNING: DOOR KICKING CHALLENGE – Thames Valley Alert'

The police also suggested to this resident to post anonymously on the local Facebook page to make residents aware of a potential new trend starting in the area but as it's not possible to post anonymously on Living in Sandymoor, they informed the parish council to share the information on their behalf.

Sandymoor Parish Council reiterates the stance of Cheshire Police in encouraging residents to report all incidences of anti-social behaviour to Cheshire Police via their Residents Voice Webpage or by calling them on 101 for non-emergencies and 999 for emergency situations.
