Sandymoor Parish Council are delighted to announce that the first two planters have arrived before the jubilee weekend.
One of the planters has been delivered to Sandymoor Ormiston Academy where it will be a project for students to develop. The other has been placed at the mini roundabout at the junction between Newmoore Lane and Wharford Lane, and was immediately planted up by volunteers from our planters group.
Cllr Steve Mahon said "I am really pleased that these have arrived today and am sure the planter presents a delightful welcome to that part of the parish. Others are being planned and will be in place in the coming weeks and months as we secure the permission of the relevant landowners."
